alscore.sg is operated by Kydos Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The AL score checker runs entirely in your browser. The grades you enter, the postal code you search, and the six schools you shortlist are saved on your own device using browser storage. They are not transmitted to Kydos Pte Ltd and we cannot read them.
Clearing your browser data removes them. Using the "Start over" button on your list of six clears the list.
When you search a postal code, that search is sent to OneMap, a service of the Singapore Land Authority, to convert it into map coordinates. We do not store the result. OneMap's own terms govern that request.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which parts of the site are used. This records things like pages viewed, approximate location by country, and whether a feature was tapped. It does not identify you by name. You can block it with any standard browser privacy setting or extension.
If you tap "Copy a link to this list", the link contains your child's total score and the schools you picked. It deliberately does not contain your postal code. Anyone you send that link to can see what it contains, so share it only with people you intend to.
If you tap the WhatsApp button and send the message, you are asking us to keep you informed about the Secondary 1 posting. At that point we store:
We use this for one purpose: to send you a small number of messages about the Secondary 1 posting dates and the option window, and to show your saved list back to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to schools, tuition centres or advertisers.
Reply STOP to any message and we stop immediately. Reply START to resume. To have your stored details deleted entirely, email support@alscore.sg from any address, or message us on WhatsApp, and tell us the number to remove.
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the posting cycle your child belongs to has finished and a further twelve months have passed, whichever comes first.
In an encrypted key-value store operated by Cloudflare, and in WhatsApp's own systems, which are operated by Meta. Message delivery necessarily involves Meta, whose own privacy terms apply to the WhatsApp service itself.
Kydos Pte Ltd runs several education websites for Singapore parents, including psleoral.sg, spellinglist.sg, dsaguide.sg, pslenotes.sg, 1kmschool.sg and olevelscore.sg. If you message us from more than one of them, we hold one record for you rather than several, so we do not ask the same questions twice. The same policy covers all of them.
These services are for parents and guardians, not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. We store a child's grades only in the aggregate form a parent typed, never a name, school record or identifier.
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to support@alscore.sg and we will respond within 30 days.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you on WhatsApp before it takes effect.
